May Caution will Bring you June Results!
This month try to eat half of the meal you ordered when dining out. First, load up on the salad, easy on the dressing before your entree gets there. That should be your appetizer. I don't know who said load up on the water but that makes me nauseous so skip that. And, skip the bread or have just one!!!! Then as soon as the waitress comes with your meal ask her for a "doggie bag". You heard me...Once she gets over the shock and she brings it back to you, immediately take half of the food off your plate. "Out of sight, out of mind"... Even if you eat the other half three hours later or for lunch the next day, you are taking steps to train that tummy to be satisfied with less food.
If you are like me and many of my family members, we need to eat something sweet directly after our meal. If your tummy won't settle for a sugary coffee, order a dessert that everyone at the table will enjoy. In essence, having four teaspoons of a luscious piece of chocolate cake versus a piece the size of a baby pork roast is an accomplishment in itself. By the time all is said and done, you will have raked in the savings of over 700 calories and God knows only how much fat! Make these changes and you will see the benefits.
